Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Fisher Exchange, LLC, doing business as The Hub Food Park, is committed to making hubfoodparkmankato.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want anyone who wants to find us, see who is serving this week, or get in touch to be able to do so — whatever technology they use to browse the web.
We treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project, and we welcome feedback from anyone who runs into difficulty using this site.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They have three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
This website aims to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We believe the site substantially meets that standard following the review and remediation described below. “Substantially conformant” means that most of the site meets the standard, and that we have identified and documented the areas that do not.
We deliberately do not describe this website as “ADA certified” or “fully compliant.” No such certification exists, and automated tools cannot verify every accessibility requirement. What we can tell you honestly is what standard we work to, what we have checked, what we fixed, and what we know is still imperfect.
What we have done
In August 2026 we carried out an accessibility review of this website combining automated testing with manual inspection of the page structure, colour contrast, and keyboard operation. As a result of that review we:
- Added descriptive alternative text to every image on the site, so screen reader users receive a meaningful description rather than a filename
- Gave the site logo, which links to the home page, a proper accessible name
- Repaired two buttons that were not operable — “Get Directions” and “Follow Us on Facebook” now work correctly for mouse, touch, and keyboard users alike
- Darkened link and button colours so that all text meets or exceeds the 4.5:1 contrast ratio WCAG requires against its background
- Added a clearly visible focus indicator so keyboard users can always see which element they are on
- Confirmed the page uses a single, correctly ordered heading structure, standard page landmarks, a skip-to-content link, and a declared page language
- Confirmed the site honours the “reduce motion” setting in your operating system, so animations are suppressed if you have asked your device to minimise them
We also apply these standards to new content as it is published, rather than only at review time.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. Below is a list of what we currently know about. If you encounter something not listed here, please tell us.
- Embedded map. Our “Find Us” section embeds a map supplied by Google. We do not control the accessibility of that embedded map. If you have difficulty using it, our full address is written out in text directly above it, and we are happy to give directions by phone.
- Photo gallery. Every gallery photograph has a written description. However, the enlarged lightbox view is provided by a third-party component, and its small thumbnail strip is not individually described. The descriptions are available on the main gallery images.
- Third-party and vendor content. Links to our food truck vendors, their menus, and our social media pages lead to websites operated by other organisations. We cannot control or guarantee the accessibility of those sites.
Feedback and getting help another way
If any part of this website is difficult or impossible for you to use, please contact us and we will help you directly. You do not need to explain why, and you will never be asked to disclose a disability.
Any information available on this website — our location and directions, opening hours, the weekly vendor schedule, or anything else — we will gladly provide over the phone or in person instead. Please contact:

Technical information
Accessibility of this website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standard described above.
How this site was assessed
The Hub Food Park assessed the accessibility of this website by self-evaluation, carried out by our web development partner. The review combined automated accessibility testing with manual checks of colour contrast ratios, heading structure, keyboard navigation, and the information conveyed to assistive technology.
This statement was created on August 12, 2026, and reflects the state of the website on that date. We review it whenever the site changes substantially.
